“I am an entrepreneur at heart, coming from a long line of small business owners on both sides of the family. This career has allowed me to leverage my inherited mindset and discipline to help organizations succeed in their respective fields.”
Doug began his professional investment career in 1993 working with individual investors and their families. For the past 22 years, he has worked for a number of institutional consulting firms in Cleveland and Columbus advising nonprofit organizations with their overall investment strategies.
Doug has particular expertise in the operational, management, marketing and strategic development of investment advisory firms. His breadth of experience has contributed to the successful outcomes of those respected firms. More importantly, his contributions have advanced the missions of the many organizations Doug has had the privilege to serve.
“Helping institutions grow for the greater good as they focus on helping others has been extremely gratifying and enjoyable.”
Doug is applying his experience and entrepreneurial bent to Highland where he will continue the outreach and expansion of the firm.
When Doug isn’t exploring new and improved methods for accomplishing Highland goals, he’s navigating the waters of Lake Erie with Maggie, his wife of 17 years, and their three children.
