“We develop very strong, trusted advisor relationships with our clients which gives us great satisfaction. Knowing that our clients trust us and our counsel is a tremendous feeling.”
As a Highland co-founder, Marc has been a member of the firm since day one, just four months before he married his wife, Mary. Marc is more convinced than ever in the value of fee-only, conflict-free advice to improve client investment outcomes.
“We never tire of advocating for our clients, believing that we are a straight-forward, knowledge-based firm delivering unbiased advice. If we can make the complex simple for our clients, their opportunity for investment success improves. We’re committed to that promise.”
Marc and Mary have four sons—and the football and lacrosse gear to prove it. (But imagine this: Mary grew up in a home with 9 brothers and a sister. Now that’s a lot of gear.) Marc captained the football team at Kenyon College and he coached CYO football for many years before following his sons in their St. Edward High School sports schedules. The Williams family are avid Buckeye and Browns fans. In fact, Marc’s pledged that when the Browns make it to the Super Bowl—however long the wait, they’re all going. On him.
