Barbara brings to Highland years of experience as a chief portfolio strategist, responsible for non-profit investments and portfolio management. At Highland, Barbara collaborates with teammates conducting investment research on all types of assets, constructing diversified investment portfolios, and working with clients to help optimize investment resources to meet their objectives.

Many people crave routine and predictability. Not Barbara. (Which makes her especially well-suited to investment consulting, wouldn’t you say?) Barbara prefers activity and lots of it. She and her husband and their adult children ski and snowboard in the winter, and they hike, bike, golf, play tennis and canoe in the summer. If Barbara can’t find a suitably adventurous activity, she’ll create one—and surprise everyone with it. (Consider yourself forewarned. Her surprise adventures can involve equipment like helmets and wetsuits.) Barbara would love to meet and talk with you, but don’t expect to sit and linger for too long.
