Highland Open Benefits ALS

Highland Consulting Associates, Inc. sponsored the inaugural Highland Open golf outing on Tuesday June 23, 2022 at Avon Oaks Country Club in Avon, Ohio.

This inaugural charity event was held in honor of our colleague, Marc Williams, with all net proceeds benefiting the ALS Association.

The shotgun event began at noon, followed by an open house reception open to golfers and non-golfers alike.

The Lincoln Electric Team, comprised of Geoff Allman, Gabriel Bruno, Francesco Fioretta, and Josh Nelson, was the winning foursome who received the “Williams Cup.” It was a wonderful outing for all and a real privilege to share the day with Marc and many of our clients and colleagues.

Not long after, on June 28, Marc joined the Guardians at Progressive Field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch as part of Major League Baseball’s second annual Lou Gehrig Day.

MLB’s Lou Gehrig Day honors the Hall of Fame New York Yankees first baseman and helps raise awareness of ALS. Marc can be seen here, as the ALS Association Northern Ohio Chapter honoree.
